#hypeflix: Did you know the Netherlands classified some loot boxes in ‘FIFA ‘18’ and ‘PUBG’ as gambling? According to the decision from the regulator, the boxes contents are determined by chance and could be traded outside the game, meaning a special license is needed. If companies do not change any loot boxes with “addiction-sensitive” elements by June 20, they can see bans and hefty fines. Is this a fair ruling?
