Ambassador Caitlin McKenzie (aka @mountainbait) writes, "After over a month of not being able to explore in the mountains, I was eager to get out to my local mountain range for an adventure! I opted for a solo snowshoe up to the Bergeron Cliffs in Tumbler Ridge, BC. What lacked in views was made up for by a show put on by about 10 golden eagles! They weren’t happy with my presence on their cliffs so they would fly by extremely close to me and then circle back around and they continued doing that until I decided it was enough stress on them and myself and left them in peace ☺️
On this trip, I wore my trusty Wind River III for the extra boot support and durability to strap my snowshoes on to and the B-dry waterproofing to protect my feet against the wet snow! The Wind Rivers are by far my favourite boot for winter adventures! "
