そして、圧縮される過程で空気などが押し出されるので、透明度が高くなるそうです。この状態は「赤色の光」を吸収しやすいのだとか。言い換えれば、太陽光が通過する際に「青」は反射するということ。

When snow becomes ice and creates caves, the air inside is compressed and expulsed from the ice, making it more transparent. Then, when the sunlight goes through it, the reflection on the ice is blue. Traveling becomes more fun with a new perspective on things.
