Blink and you’ll miss it. Starting at 6:51 p.m. EDT (22:51 UTC), @SpaceX will livestream its launch of @NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). Once in space, TESS will move into orbit around Earth, watching stars to see if they blink. If they do, that’s a sign that a planet has passed in front of the star—possibly an undiscovered planet that scientists can study.
