On this Independence Day I want to say thank you to all Zimbabweans who are carrying our Flag.
As ordinary Zimbabweans I know that we have worked and continue to work for a better Zimbabwe.
Today, I pray that our leaders and captains of industry make the right decisions. Decisions that are good for our Nation and not simply the benefit of an individual.
I was born after Independence but I have been here during this recent change. Perhaps this is a new Independence? A second chance? A chance to provide more jobs, more opportunities, bring back our tourists, increase food production, use our resources for our needs not someone else’s, protect our heritage, provide better health services and ensure that every child has a good education.
There is so much for us to do and as always, I am here to help Zimbabwe. I am working on the ground to provide Children with greater opportunities and through my global sporting and business networks I will continue to bring awareness and investments to our wonderful country.
