85% of the refugees who have fled South Sudan are women and children. Those fleeing are not responsible for the terrible conflict they are running away from. Most refugees I’ve met want peace in their own country more than anything else, and to be able to return home. But while they are here, Uganda is welcoming them as brothers and sisters.
