竹は天を目指して真っ直ぐに伸びていく。しやなかで、強い風にも折れることがない。地下茎で沢山の仲間と繋がり助け合っているから強い。世界の人々が人種や国籍を越えて、竹に学ぶ時代がきたことを感じています。この8月、メキシコはハラパで開催される世界竹会議で多くの方に伝えたい。

Bamboo is flexible, never breaking even strong winds.
It is strong because the roots under the ground are connected with a lot of friends and help each other.
I feel that people of the world have come age to learn from bamboo beyond race and nationality.
In August of this year, I would like to tell many people the days of bamboo at the world bamboo Congress to be held in Xalapa, Mexico.
