These fabled masterpieces are back on view after receiving conservation treatment. The pairing had different owners in the 1800s and 1900s and the color of the high chest needed to be subtly enriched to match the dressing table. Carved elements that had broken off of the dressing table were also replaced based on close study of the similar ones that survived intact on the high chest. Swipe to see the details.
