Thank you all for your encouragement and kind words on yesterday's stories. I wanted to say that I posted that because that is my real life. We can all compose a photo, and slap on the M5 filter and make our lives look just so, but not as many of us sit bra less or makeup less (I don't wear it anyway, but you get the idea) in front of the camera and speak about how we had a crazy day. For me, yesterday was good! I wasn't complaining. I was proud of it. I don't usually have productive days when extra work is heaped upon my existing list AND I'm not overwhelmed by homeschooling and parenting and Ellen's questions or tasks for me out at the project site. I shut down. I want to hide under the covers. I distract myself with anything and everything to not deal with what feels impossible. I didn't make it to yoga yesterday, but I also didn't fold under the pressure. That's a big feat for me! So no, I didn't get dressed or brush my teeth or get in yoga class, but I later got a shower (huge deal, as we don't have one here), grocery shopped for the week, and spent time with my girls. Each day here looks different, and each one we get through without breaking under the demands on us is a good one in my book. Be proud of wherever you are, and what you do today. You don't have to do it all to be doing it.
