Here's an idea. Anyone going to @thecatdaddy @catcampnyc in NYC on May 5th? ?
If you are going to it, would you fly in one day early to participate in a march for paws on claws on May 4th out in front of this New York State Veterinary Medical Society and @cornellvet 's veterinary conference?
I've been told that Tarrytown, NY is around a 45 min drive or 1.45 min trip on public transportation from NYC.
Wouldn't that be awesome if we could get a few hundred people for this march for the innocent cats of NY? We would get media coverage and could post videos and photo online and make them go viral for the cause! #CatHistory The first march for keeping cat's toes and claws on their paws! ?❤️
As most of you know, the NYSVMS is the organization that is always stopping our cat protection bill (anti-declawing bill) in NY. They want their declawing vets to be able to keep amputating the toes and claws on innocent kitties. ?
Cornell is on the wrong side of this issue since they are NOT supporting this important anti-declawing legislation. As most of you know, Cornell talked a good talk in 2007 & was awarded Rhoda Hogan's $125,000 bequest that she wanted to go to, "An organization to be used to publicize and educate the public about the cruel effect of de-clawing cats and to support legislation forbidding it." Cornell said they used $100,000 of it to make 6 short and simple videos but the feline behaviorist in them told me they took 2 DAYS TO MAKE and she doesn't remember being paid for writing all the material and talking in them and if she was it was only a few hundred dollars.
Cornell STILL hasn't used Mrs Hogan's remaining $25,000 over 10 YEARS LATER! #unbelievable #coverup
