Black Orchid was created by @denacooperillustration , @目黒ケイ and @lusidart to celebrate IWD together, as a creative force/girl gang who thrive on not only creating, but connecting and supporting each other.
Black Orchid represents the move in the evolution for creative women coming together to support each other closely and eliminate the notions of competition and comparison.
Rihanna was chosen as main inspiration for the IWD 2018 collaboration as a homage to her work bringing to light diversity, education and breaking every barrier we see in the industry as we know it, whilst maintaining grace and humility.
The artwork will be released as a limited edition print, with 100% of proceeds donated to “Woman Kind”. Let Black Orchid be a reminder of what is possible when women across the globe come together for simply the love of each other.
