The #BurtonUSOpen has come a long way since 1982. We’re in the midst of hosting hundreds of riders and thousands of attendees for a week-long celebration of all things snowboarding and music in beautiful Vail, Colorado. ❄️ Besides size, location, and the rider roster, another thing has improved. ? We’re measuring the success of this year’s event around a few lofty sustainability goals. In collaboration with partners like the Town of Vail and @protectourwinters, the World’s Greatest Snowboard event will also be the greenest, via carbon neutrality and major moves toward zero-waste. Plus, POW will be getting riders and attendees registered to vote to send a message on climate issues. ?
