As activists there are so many issues that we passionately care about. #animalrights #racialjustice #womensrights #environmentaljustice #education #politicalreform etc etc. But here's the thing: without a stable climate there's no room for progress, and without a stable climate every single thing we care about will fall by the wayside. We have about 2 minutes to address and remedy #climatechange before the consequences become worse than we can possibly imagine. We need to do two things: stop using petroleum(60% of climate change), stop using animals for food(40% of climate change). So whatever issues we care about our primary concern should be climate change. Because when the sea levels rise 200 feet and storms become unimaginably strong and 1 billion people are dying of famine we will see very clearly that without a stable climate everything else falls apart. @レオナルド・ディカプリオ @マーク・ラファロ
