Three-week-old Francine sleeps in a camp for people who’ve fled fighting in Central African Republic. Her face is a picture of peace, yet she was born into chaos. Roughly half of all mothers in Central African Republic aren’t able to deliver in a health facility - making it one of the most dangerous places to give birth in the world. Since 2013, over a third of health facilities have been destroyed and 80% of equipment has been looted nationwide.
