rains rapped at the window and howled up under the eves keeping (I would imagine) most everyone awake for a better portion of the night but as is often the way, the torrents subsided and the winds died and in their place is a morning of stillness and weak sunlight and a warmth which feels only vaguely familiar after the winter months .

and I’ve opened as many windows as I can and pulled some favorite ingredients from the cupboard ...filled with a rush of inspiration
