The Kingdom of Tonga was devastated by the tropical Cyclone Gita on February 12, 2018, crushing the Parliament House to the ground, and causing significant damage and injuries across the kingdom. Widespread damage to infrastructure has left many people without basic services such as water and electricity and even destruction of food crops. Therefore, a few of us Pacific islanders residing in Tokyo would like to support our communities back in Tonga in this time of disaster. We would like to invite you all to this relief fundraiser to donate any amount as you please. Come on down to @tonga_coffee_and_bar to show your support.
