'Our favorite part of off-roading through the Gobi Desert were the animals we would see wandering by. There were sheep, goats and horses by the thousands, yaks and gazelles too, and there were those handsome Bactrian Camels: a double-humped, ornery-looking but mostly mild-mannered beast with a shaggy wool coat and a penchant for moaning in the early morning light. Of the 260,000 camels in #Mongolia, two-thirds can be found in the #Gobi.
