Today’s #rolemodelmonday is the stunning 16 yr old @lauren.williams02 (Lulu)! Lulu has a scalp condition that causes hair loss, so out of embarrassment, she has worn wigs to try and cover it up. A couple weeks ago at school, some classmates made a bet, and pulled Lulu’s wig off in front of everyone to humiliate her. Not only did they pull off her wig, they videotaped it and followed her as she ran away crying. Rather than let the bullies win, she eventually collected herself, and later that day, shaved her head. I am truly heartbroken by this story, but am so proud of how Lulu handled it. She took control of the situation and rose above it! We cannot accept bullying anymore! Remember, you are not alone! Thank you for being an inspiration Lulu.
