For years this has been the simple little warm up I run through when I sit down to play guitar. Isn't it odd and funny that music is, ontologically, just already existing air molecules being pushed around a little bit differently? A cello and a jackhammer and a dog barking use the same air molecules, they just hit our ear drums a little bit differently. Technically music has never once actually 'existed', just a slight change to air that already exists. But yet it's capable of making us dance and cry and laugh and get bad tattoos and stand in a field with 100,000 people yelling at the top of our lungs. All from a few invisible air molecules being pushed around differently.
