HAI CHAN UPDATE: After her arrival at her forever home at BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh, the veterinarians Dr. Johanna Painer and Dr. Szilvia Kalogeropoulu (FOUR PAWS Vietnam) performed another medical check on Hai Chan. It appears that the wounds on her two front legs have disappeared and that she has built up a nice layer of thick skin to walk on.
Furthermore she suffered from an inflammation of the gallbladder during her rescue in November but the team at BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh treated her accordingly. Fortunately she reacted very positively to the treatment and her gallbladder has healed well. And finally the team had to remove one small incisor tooth, as it was completely fractured.

We are more than happy that Hai Chan is now receiving the medical attention she needs.
