Here is some video of my wife’s Christmas present to me this year: flying in an L-39 with genius pilot Istvan Calmar (@migflug). You can see at the end that I have bag at the ready just in case. This was the most exhilarating, life-shifting moment I could have at the cusp of 50. She knows me so well to understand that touching the most absurd, most Newton act would throw me into an even deeper appreciation of this circus that we are so lucky to live.
