“After reaching the top of the highest volcano in the world, I am ready to share. We tried to sleep in a little and recover from the long travel to South America. The temperatures in the Chilean desert are pretty low at night and in the early mornings despite it being summer time in the Southern Hemisphere. Our wake-up was followed by morning coffee, an egg, toast and avocado breakfast and a short hike before packing up and driving farther east in search of Laguna Verde. After 100km of bumpy dirt roads, we found Laguna Verde. This green lagoon lies in the Atacama Region of Chile near San Francisco Pass.
