Ambassador @adventuremilo left a desk job several years ago to adventure full time. Which is how he found himself high in the Himalaya taking this shot. He writes, "Everest in clear view, I hopped up the jumble of rocks beside the trail for a series of photos. This is a candid shot of me running back to change the settings on the camera. This is because the view of Everest would soon be swallowed up by clouds, just as it had been a minute before. This particular experience has a deeper emotional effect because we had just been trekking in nearly whiteout conditions that included thick snowflakes. Then, the snow slowed and as we got closer to Everest Base Camp, as if it was meant to be, a large hole opened up in the sky with this view. It looked as if the summit was framed and the whisps of snow on its summit shimmered with the sun like spilled diamonds. The mountain definitely knows how to make an entrance."
