I don’t think I’ve shared how I met @マリッサ・ウェッブ. And you guessed it... We virtually met on Instagram and we met in person here! At Lincoln Center! Four years ago, I posted an IG outfit pic and tagged her, and a few days later I got an email from her. I thought it was spam! But we ended up talking and she invited me to her show. I snuck backstage after the show and met her in person. I mumbled a few words and cried. It was such a moment for me. And that moment changed my life. Marissa is my #OneConnection. Over the years, she has mentored me, encouraged me to take risks, supported me through heartaches, and most importantly, she has shown me that your past can fuel your strength, that hard work is the only type of work, and to always be a student of life.
