15 years ago today, @50セント dropped “In Da Club”!! It was loved by music critics and fans alike, hitting #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, later being certified double platinum in the US and Australia. It became 50's first number one. It peaked at #1 for 9 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and remained on the chart for 30 weeks.
The track also reached #1 on the Top 40 Tracks, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and Hot Rap Tracks charts.
In March 2003, it broke a @Billboard record as the "most listened-to" song in radio history within a week. Billboard also ranked it as the No. 1 song for 2003. Nominated for Best Male Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Song at the 2004 Grammy Awards!!
