People like the Tla’amin First Nation, to whom young @Takaiya_Blaney belongs, have artistic and spiritual traditions that have been practiced on the Pacific Northwest Coast for over 5,000 years. Her hat is made from carefully harvested cedar bark and the symbols on her dress, speak of her sacred relationship with totem animals. It is her voice that really matters, however.
