Thank-Q SO much to all y’awl who joined me at the launch of my new limited edition @buscemi shoes! & a special thx to my bro @clarkbeckham for killin’ it on those vocals!! Anyways...@jonbuscemi & I have been working on perfecting these babies for the past couple of years now & I’m excited for them to finally find their way onto your feet! ((:0)) When I was just a kid living in Bremerton, I used to shine shoes for the high rollers & pimps...These cats were cool, suave, & smart. They would wear their brand-new Stacy Adams with the white silk stockings...And then with a razor blade, they’d cut two slits across the top outside part of the shoe for a little bunion relief. I had to polish that shoe & leave just enough black polish on the edge of the sponge, so that when you got to the part where the two slits were, you could swab it and not get their socks wet with black polish!

But first, I had to bleach the strings white with Clorox on a toothbrush. My technique got so tight that the high-rollers wouldn’t let anybody shine their shoes but me!... It was in those moments, that I realized the power of style. Those cats exuded confidence without even sayin’ a word! Their shoes did the talking. So, as a former shoe shiner who used to make $5 a week, it makes my soul smile to fast forward almost 7 decades later, & present you with two shoes I am VERY proud of. Well, enough talking, because as Louis Armstrong used to say, “Play it don’t say it!.” So I’ll let the shoes do the talking! I hope U enjoy them as much as I do!! ? Link in bio ?: @quincyjonesprod
