This Photo by @williamodaniels for @ナショナルジオグラフィック originally published in "Path of Persecution," last month, is part of the best moving photos of 2017 selected by the magazine. The story was about the curent Rohingya exodus, as an outbreak of violence in Myanmar's Rakhine state caused more than six hundreds thousands of Rohingya civilians to flee to Bangladesh.
In every tent I entered In Kutupalong refugee camps, someone was wounded or sick, or traumatised by having witnessed family members killed before their eyes. All of the children of Nur Kober (right) and his wife Joleka (left) were sick with fever.
