“The best thing about being a runner is that you really can do it anywhere. All you need are your shoes and proper attire for the conditions. I find it to be one of the best ways to explore places I have never been. When I am traveling in a new place, I’ll often backtrack my route instead of doing loops to prevent getting lost or running too far. I also tend to ask locals for recommendations on great trails or stick to more common paths.
