Sailing through out the Hawaiian Islands for the past 40 years, Clayton Uyehara finally found himself with an opportunity to make the Trans Pacific crossing this summer onboard the SV Makani Olu, a classic Hans Christian 41 T Molokai Model en route from San Francisco to Kawaihae Harbor. He's currently making preparations to make his way around Maui, Lanai, Molokai and finally over to Oahu where the Makani Olu will be berthed at the Waikiki Yacht Club, where's he's been a regular member for over 20 years.
