Lake Haven Animal Rescue’s Director Cheryl McCloud is going to have these kittens declawed on Monday and I’m still trying to inspire her to not do it. ?

Mrs McCloud just calls ME a lunatic, twisted, a radical, and nuts because I'm trying to educate her about why declawing is inhumane and always harms the long term health and well-being of a cat.?? She declaws most of the kittens and young cats at her rescue. She says it gets them in a home faster and she has “superior skilled surgeons” who use a laser to burn off these cat’s toe bones and claws. ?? I'm happy to say that my mom had a long conversation with Cathy Bissell with @bissellpets and she said that she will no longer financially support Lake Haven Animal Rescue if Cheryl continues declawing her cats. ???
It is just shocking and sad to see all the willful ignorance in so many people in this area of Michigan who believe that declawing is ok to do to their cats. #koolaid
