The fragrance Gucci Bloom, #InBloom is depicted in an illustration by @ignasimonreal that was recreated on the #GucciArtWall in Soho, NYC and Milan for the launch of the first women’s scent by #AlessandroMichele. Part of the #GucciGift campaign, the design is the artist’s interpretation of a ‘Locus Amoenus’, a literary term referring to an idyllic place. The table renders the Florentine ‘pietre dure’ mosaic technique using marble and precious stones. A plaster sculpture sits upside down on the table with the flowers coming out of the nose representing notes of the fragrance—Tuberose, Jasmine and Rangoon Creeper.
