For some, the maple pecan is the most important piece. For most, it’s shaking hands and exchanging some words with the guy that’s responsible for all of this. Either way it’s really nice, and like any tradition, it’s a grounding force.

One of our favorite sayings is that you have to know where you’ve been to know where you’re going. This process took less time when there weren’t hundreds of us, but it’s a perfect reminder of where we’ve been.
