Honoured to accept the @asean Chairmanship from Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte at the closing ceremony of the #ASEAN2017 Summit last night.

We will build on the good work by the Philippines and previous Chairs to strengthen our Community, and make #ASEAN more innovative and resilient.

My thanks to President Duterte and the people of the Philippines for their warm and gracious hospitality. Look forward to welcoming all ASEAN Member States to Singapore in 2018!
