More often than not we overthink, over-calculate and over analyze. Remember when you were a kid? You didn’t think about dance vs cheerleading or baseball vs football. You did kart wheels in the grass and picked up rocks looking for bugs. You were led by curiosity. You did what excited you and didn’t think about it. If you got bored playing manhunt you would stop. If you didn’t like coloring you would put down the crayons. There was no guilt. There was no need to do what was ‘expected’. You knew what you liked and that was the end of it.

Life is all about NOT knowing and doing something anyway. Sure you can have an idea of what you want and the steps you might take to get there BUT I’m here to tell you that road will course correct 81516278 times along the way and you’ll end up somewhere else you may never even have expected - and that’s ok!!!

So where do you ‘find’ your passion? You’ve already found it you’re just ignoring it and likely living in a realm based on expectations or what everyone ELSE assumes is the standard way of living. What do you spend your free time doing? Don’t think you can earn a living from it? Have you even tried? The issue isn’t that you don’t know what your passionate about, the issue is that you’re refusing believe it’s viable.

That being said let me feed you on the other side of it all as well. There’s no such thing as a passion you’re never going to get tired of, stressed about or complain about. I LOVE what I do and guess what? I’m flippin’ exhausted a lot of the time and would still never give it up for the world.

Take aways: Pursue something. Anything. Gain experience. Gain wisdom. Mess up MULTIPLE times. Grow. Continue to move forward. Don’t seek. Just do.
