Photo by @ciriljazbec / Unpredictability appears to be a new constant of the Greenlandic changing climate. Earlier the Inuit hunters could just look at the weather and see how it is going to be the next few days. But today this is sometimes no longer possible because the change of the weather happens from day to day, or from hour to hour.
The photo was taken in Upernavik, a small town in the northwest of Greenland, while I was waiting a couple of days for a delayed flight that was cancelled due to bad weather. I remember the town’s life was brought to a standstill while the power of nature took over.
