Creative director and photographer Banan Alawneh’s (@bananalawneh) greatest joy is working behind the scenes. “I love creating weird things!” says the 34-year-old from Amman, Jordan, who moved to Dubai for a new career adventure. “The modern city offers high technology and advanced equipment for photography and motion picture,” says Banan of Dubai. She travels often for work (and play) — Barcelona, Paris and Venice are some of her favorite cities — but she’ll always have a soft spot for Amman, and for Jordan. “There is heritage everywhere you look, even in the faces of its people,” she says.
We’re excited to announce that Instagram is now available in three right-to-left languages on Android. We hope even more speakers of these languages are able to share their language and culture with the world and connect with the people and things that matter to them.
