Voted early in the #nygeneralelection and then ran straight into the bathroom to take this selfie! But enough about me. @michaelcavadias helped me decide to vote #workingfamiliesparty straight down the line and write in Mark Fliedner for DA because absurdly unopposed candidate #cyvance is the piece of shit who let both the Trump family AND Harvey Weinstein off the hook when investigations were launched against them. If you’re unfamiliar with the Working Families Party, here’s a few things @michaelcavadias told me that we’re helpful:

1. Andrew Cuomo is on a campaign to destroy the #WFP and it’s very important that De Blasio and Tish James get as many votes on this line as possible to demonstrate the WFP's strength going into next years crucial election. The WFP is more committed to progressives controlling NYS government than the Democratic Party is.
2. The Governor and the Assembly have routinely enabled Republican control of the State Senate while the WFP has actually been fighting to take power away from the GOP. The WFP can certainly be annoying in some of it’s cowardly endorsements (like Cuomo in 2014) but it’s a critical institution that does have the capacity to hold the Democratic Party accountable and this state would be much worse off without it.
3. Most of the WFP nominee’s are also running on the Democratic line but there are some cases like Randy Abreu in the Bronx who is fantastic and is running only on the WFP line. Randy is endorsed by Our Revolution and if you’re in his district, vote for him!
