This year we’re making Pan de los Muertos, also known as day of the dead bread. ? It’s soft and rich, with delicate flavors of anise and orange, which make it smell particularly fantastic. While it’s still warm, the outside of the bread is coated in layer of vanilla sugar, taking it to dangerously good territory (like, oops I just ate an entire loaf of bread territory ?).
