アサイーを手積みで収穫し、工場で加工する中でアサイーの生産量と比例し、種がゴミとして不要な部分になります。(アサイーの可食部は95%のため)

近郊のレンガ工場に燃料として寄付したり、アマゾンの木を切り倒し、燃料として燃やすより、種を燃やして、資源を有効活用しております。

また、現地の女性グループは、アサイーの種を使ってジュエリーを作り、サンバゾンが買い戻し地域貢献もしております?

As of November, our factories deep in the heart of the Amazon will run off ?% Açaí seed fuel and solar power. The thing with hand harvesting Açaí is that the seed is our biggest waste product. To close the loop on our production cycle, we retrofitted our furnaces (and our neighbors’ furnaces) so we can burn the Açaí seed instead of virgin Amazon wood. We take the rest and give them to local women’s groups who make jewelry and we then buy it back to give to you. ?
