☀️ I watched an insightful and inspirational @TED Talks #tedtalks with #AlainDeBotton on #success - he spoke on #fate, the #willofthegods and how we are living now, for the first time, in an era where (for many) there is no power greater than us, the #Human Race - and that is, perhaps, why we are drawn to #Nature. It got me thinking about the wild, the uncontrollable and unpredictable. Beautiful, bountiful, deadly.
I live in a tower overlooking Hackney Marsh and I love the changing sunrises from here, I think, because it is a random spectacle and no one, yet, has copyrighted them. They are not commercialised, they are not for my benefit or anyone else’s.
