INTRODUCING HILL HOUSE HOME x PRABAL GURUNG.
A tabletop set created in collaboration with our dear friend and #pgmuse @nelliediamond, to celebrate the art of the dinner party while bringing unique individuals together to form an intriguing dialogue prompted by a stimulating conversation starter with poet Christina Rossetti’s 1877 poem “An Emerald Is As Green As Grass” hand embroidered into each setting. “Rossetti has always been a favorite poet of mine, and she is an incredibly powerful example of what Prabal calls ‘femininity with a bite.’ As one of the foremost poets of the Victorian era, she challenged expectations of what it meant to be a woman, an artist, and a citizen through her work. Her poems are at once vibrant, lively, romantic and serious, considered, urgent. This dichotomy felt perfect for our collaboration.
