In the "Historical Military Youth Camp” near Moscow, Russian kids are reenacting the battle of Borodino, where in 1812 the Russian Army under Field Marshal Kutuzov defeated Napoleons Army in the deadliest day of the Napoleonic wars with 80.000 fallen soldiers. The reenactment serves a reminder that their forefathers successfully fought off western attacks on Russian land, Russian life and Russian values.

For several months each year up to 400 youngsters are being trained here in a courses to prepare them for the Army. The camp schedule includes physical training, history, sciences, and weaponry.
