Assessed as Critically Endangered in the Western Central Atlantic due to enormous declines in their population, some studies show a decline of over 99% in the last 30 years. For three years I've been working in the Bahamas with great organizations and biologists to tag and track pregnant female Whitetips, in hopes of learning where this evasive, pelagic shark goes to give birth. It is an absolute honor to be the water this this amazing shark.
