I am very sad. Education is very important but many children do not go to school because of wars and hunger. My mother and teachers taught me to read and write. This was very important for me during the war in Aleppo. We could read together to help us forget the war and I also kept a diary. I published my book so that I could tell people what it is like to be a child in war. All girls must go to school so they too can learn to read and write to tell their stories. I support the UN Global Goals and wish that all children, girls and boys from all around the world can go to school. We must help every child to have an education for a better tomorrow.
