Adriana Varejão’s spectacular four-channel video installation "Transbarroco" (2014) features sweeping takes of four church interiors in Brazil. These "jewels of the mestizo Brazilian Baroque" are among the most significant examples of local religious architecture of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and point to key cultural influences in Varejão's oeuvre.
