Gorgeous photo by @monteith.matthew of our first family dog, Dean. Dean was the most neurotic New York Jew you will ever meet. He was asked to leave an AmTrak train for crying. He took a dump on my father's pillow. He also knew when I'D been dumped and refused to leave my side until the heartbreak subsided. His ashes were spread over a valley but a subway grate would have been more appropriate. Love you, homie, can't believe it's been 3 years.
