Yesterday I drove for 7hr in hopes of capturing a specific image. Racing up to the parking lot I opened a can of soup and devoured it cold before grabbing my bag and running for a mile and a half to try and catch the sunset. I literally missed it by five minutes but decided to stick around for a milky way shot. As it got dark, clouds formed in the exact direction of my photo. They danced about in the sky giving me glimpses of the galaxy and lured me into sticking around for hours hoping the sky would clear. Long story long, I walked back in the dark without a shot... but one thing is for sure, I'll be back again tonight!
In the meantime, here's a pretty picture of @chelseakauai from a luckier evening in the southwest :)
