Fall has officially arrived and I can't help but reflect on the amazing summer I got to live.
From quiet evenings on Belle Isle, to making new friends and meeting new people, traveling the world, seeing family, having new adventures and seeing new sights. It was a summer of joy and gratitude.
It started with an amazing seminar in Australia. My second trip, and the first ever for @yukasato0214. Watching the hard work and growth of the kids in Perth was incredibly rewarding.
Followed that up with a breathtaking and unforgettable trip to the UP. (My first ever)
Backpacking in the Frank Church wilderness with my sister and her husband, and doing every possible activity in Idaho!
A mind blowing two weeks in the French Alps. Working with a good friend, skating, and having the joy to work with a few of the most talented skaters from across Europe!
Finally making it back to Scotland. Seeing the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, and again being inspired by the skaters I got the honor of working with.
My first ever soccer match. Even though we didn't win @detroitcityfootballclub was amazing
Performing again in Japan for an always enthusiastic and energetic audience of wonderful Japanese fans.
And topped it off with 3 incredible Golden Moment shows in both San Jose and Hawaii! I can't say enough about this experience. I felt an openness to my own skating that I've never felt before, I made new friends, performed with some of my childhood idols, and met (and got to sing with) an absolute legend (and real life Disney princess). I saw family I haven't seen in years and spent a week in paradise getting to do the one thing I love more than anything.
I am so thankful for everyone in my life I got to share these experiences with.
I truly can't express how humbled and grateful I am for every opportunity, and every experience I've had this summer. It was a summer of firsts in many ways and it is one that I will talk about forever! ❤️
I can't wait to put on my comfiest sweater, watch the leaves change color, and see what autumn has in store!
