This week's #AskCeci comes from @house_of_ro ?? Q: What type of questions do you ask your clients in order to create a family crest that is uniquely their own?

A: Designing a custom crest for someone is very personal and special. So I always like to ask a lot of questions so I can get to know the people I am designing for. If it's a crest for a couple, I'll ask questions about the bride, what is she like? What's special to her? What's symbolic or important in her life, or to them together, etc. and I'll do the same for the groom. It's fun to do a deep dive and uncover little nuggets of inspiration to work with. That's where the best ideas formulate. Then from there we'll sketch our vision and run with it. Once the sketches are ready, we present our ideas and options to the client. Then the chosen one is refined and worked on until it's just perfect. And my favorite part is when your new family crest lives on beyond the wedding day and becomes part of your lifestyle together! ?
